Dating back to the final year of the Dan Devine era in 1980, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish have only traveled to Atlanta to face the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets three times. That number will increase to four on Oct. 19 when the Irish begin the second half of their 2024 season against the improving Yellow Jackets. This series, which dates back to 1922, has been another Irish domination, winning 30 of 36 meetings, with one 3-3 tie in 1980.
