A record 10 freshman early enrollees are beginning their Notre Dame football careers today. The record breaking class is expected to have at least one starter for 2019 among it while the remaining class will restock the offensive and defensive lines along with adding another talent back to the Irish backfield. Jay Bramblett steps into starting opportunity
The early enrollee who will almost certainly make the earliest impact is punter Jay Bramblett. The US Army All-American is expected to take over for Tyler Newsome from day one.
