A sloppy game for both teams and despite the Tigers winning the time of possession 37:51 to 22:13, they were unable to come out with a win.Notre Dame Quarterback Ian Book finished with 164 passing yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. Wide receiver Myles Boykin led the Irish with three receptions,102 yards, and one touchdown.
LSU drops to 9-4 with the loss, snapping the Tigers three-game win streak. Running back Derrius Guice carried the LSU offense rushing for 98 yards on 19 carries plus three receptions for 24 yards and two touchdowns.
