Four-star wide receiver Javon McKinley (Corona, CA) announced his commitment to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish during the fourth quarter of the U.S. Army All-American Bowl. The 6'2", 194-pounder committed to Notre Dame over Washington and Oregon.
“It was very difficult,” McKinley said. “I was torn between colleges for a very long time and finally I decided the college I am picking is the best one.”
As the No. 18 rated wide receiver in the country, McKinley joins a Notre Dame class that ranks 13th in the country
McKinley said his decision was difficult, but ultimately went with Notre Dame for the chance he has to receive early playing time and for the education. He also plans to play baseball for the Irish.
