Four-star Charlotte (NC) Ardrey Kell defensive end Julian Okwara has cut his list down to just five programs, and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish are one of the schools which made the cut.
The 6-foot-4, 210-pounder took to Twitter to announce his final five on Friday, and there's some interesting competition to be had on the list:
I would like to say thank you to all the schools that recruited me. But I have decided to trim it down. pic.twitter.com/ky6Q47NZSN

Ranked as the #184 overall recruit in the country by 247Sports, Julian is the brother of 2012 signing and defensive end Romeo Okwara. Therefore, it's no surprise that Notre Dame is considered the prohibitive favorite to land Julian, despite a final five filled with up-and-coming programs and traditional recruiting powerhouse such as Georgia.
