Norwich City Under-18s took their third draw from three games after their 1-1 result against Blackburn Rovers U18s on Tuesday afternoon.
It was City’s third pre-season fixture after two previous draws with Grimsby Town and Bolton Wanderers, with just a friendly against Derby County remaining until the U18 Premier League season begins.
Much like their 1-1 draw with Bolton, City started on the front foot against the Rovers, being awarded a penalty early on after Alex Matos was fouled inside the 18-yard box. Kenny Coker, who recently signed his first pro contract with the club, stepped up and converted calmly from the spot for the lead.
