Tim Krul had a special message of thanks for the children of local hospital staff when he joined them virtually at one of several ‘Superhero’ Soccer Schools with the Norwich City Community Sports Foundation.
The Soccer Schools were funded by the Canaries Covid-19 Community project as a way to say thank you to staff at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, the James Paget University Hospital in Gorleston, and the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn for their work throughout the pandemic.
The Norwich City ‘keeper spoke to the children via video-link and the youngsters, who were taking part at Foundation’s hub The Nest, got the chance to quiz the Netherlands international on many subjects.
