Norwich City striker Teemu Pukki has received nominations for two prestigious awards at this year’s Finland Sports Gala (Finland Urheilugaala).
The scorer of 23 goals this calendar year for the Canaries, he was instrumental in firing the club to the Sky Bet Championship title in May and back to the Premier League.
He also helped Finland qualify for their first major tournament in November as the Huuhkajat beat Liechtenstein 3-0 in Helsinki to book their spot at EURO 2020.
He scored ten goals in qualifying which was only bettered by three other players - Eran Zahavi (Israel), Harry Kane (England) and Cristiano Ronaldo (Portgual).
