Sheffield Wednesday are considering a rival offer for Rangers target Graham Dorrans.
Rangers have tabled an offer worth around £1million for the Norwich City midfielder who is keen on a return to his native Glasgow.
However, ambitious Wednesday want to bring the Scotland international to Hillsborough.
They plan ahead for a new promotion campaign and could offer more cash to Norwich.
Dorrans, 30, is one of several players Norwich are prepared to sacrifice as they look to re-shape their squad under director of football Stuart Webber and new coach Daniel Farke.
