Ray Wilkins has accused clubs in England of showing a lack of respect for homegrown coaches after Daniel Farke was confirmed as Norwich City’s new boss.
Like David Wagner a year before him, Farke has been plucked from his role as reserve team manager at Borussia Dortmund to be given a top job in the Championship.
The little-known German’s appointment has angered Wilkins, the former Aston Villa, Chelsea and Fulham assistant, who cannot understand why clubs continue to overlook aspiring British bosses.
