Norwich City defender Callum Doyle said the 6-1 win over Plymouth was the perfect way to end a run of seven games without victory.
The Canaries blew Argyle away at Carrow Road to move up to ninth in the Championship table on Tuesday night.
"The fans were buzzing with that one, as is the team as well," Doyle told BBC Radio Norfolk.
"It's just what we needed going into the next few games with high confidence now.
"We had loads of chances - that's what we said in the dressing room at half-time.
