Norwich tell Rangers to increase bid for Graham Dorrans after Scottish club offer £1million for midfielder

Rangers have lodged a £1million bid for Graham Dorrans – but Norwich City are holding out for another £500,000 before letting the Scotland international sign for his boyhood heroes.

New Ibrox boss Pedro Caixinha is wasting little time in overhauling the squad inherited from Mark Warburton in March.

Former Aberdeen skipper Ryan Jack and Portuguese international defender Bruno Alves have already been snapped up.

Mexican midfielder Carlos Pena also appears to be close to joining Rangers after travelling to Glasgow for a medical – although the delays involved in applying for a work permit mean he isn't expected to report with the majority of the first-team squad when they return to training on Monday.
