Norwich City have signed former Brentford and Bournemouth forward Emiliano Marcondes on a one-year contract with the option of an extra year.
The 29-year-old was a free agent having left Bournemouth in the summer following a loan spell at Hibernian.
The Canaries need reinforcements after losing Ashley Barnes, Onel Hernandez and Christian Fassnacht because of injuries.
"He gives us other options up front," boss Johannes Hoff Thorup told BBC Radio Norfolk. "He can play as a 9, he can play as a 10, he can play a little bit on the left side."
"He has great intensity, a good pressing player, he loves to be involved, loves to be on the ball, wants to find good positions in the box to get in and score goals.
