Norwich coach Hughes leaves for Leicester role

Norwich first-team coach Andrew Hughes has left the club to become part of Steve Cooper's backroom team at Leicester City.

Former midfielder Hughes played for Norwich from 2005 to 2007 and returned to Carrow Road in 2021 as player loans manager.

He was promoted two years later to work under then head coach David Wagner, having previously done so at Huddersfield Town.

"The impact of his work has been clear for everyone to see, and his energy and enthusiasm are something we’ll all miss day-to-day at the training ground," sporting director Ben Knapper told the club website.
