Norwich chiefs back under pressure manager Daniel Farke to turn their season around following 'unacceptable' start which sees Canaries bottom of the Premier League with just two points

Daniel Farke has received the backing of Norwich chiefs despite overseeing their winless and ‘unacceptable’ start to the season.

Norwich are propping up the Premier League having lost seven of their nine league games so far and scored just twice.

Farke has now failed to win any of his last 19 top-flight games, including the 10 successive defeats they suffered in their previous Premier League campaign when they were relegated in 2020.

Scrutiny of the Norwich boss, who signed a new four-year contract in June, has increased further following Saturday’s 7-0 defeat at Chelsea but sporting director Stuart Webber said: ‘To be questioning, Daniel, at this point, I think would be incredibly unfair.
