Northern Ireland manager Michael O’Neill has emerged as a contender to take over at Norwich City.
Fleetwood Town boss Uwe Rosler remains favourite to be installed at Carrow Road this summer, and Huddersfield’s David Wagner is another leading candidate.
But O’Neill, 47, has been added to the shortlist by Norwich’s new director of football Stuart Webber after guiding Northern Ireland to second place in their World Cup qualifying group behind Germany following last summer’s appearance at Euro 2016.
If Norwich want O’Neill they would have to pay the Irish FA £750,000 in compensation under the terms of the £500,000-a-year contract he signed 13 months ago.
