Norwich City can confirm that Marco Stiepermann has left the club, after a mutual agreement was reached to end his contract.
Stiepermann signed for Norwich from German outfit VfL Bochum in the summer of 2017. Over a four-year spell he would go on to play a total of 119 games for the club, scoring 12 goals.
The German has two Sky Bet Championship winners’ medals to his name.
Stiepermann told canaries.co.uk: “When I first joined Norwich I never expected the amazing four years that followed. I have found my second family in Norfolk and I learned so much about how amazing the football club is.
