Norwich City Under-23s midfielder Liam Gibbs was encouraged by the team performance in Friday night’s 1-0 loss at home to Stoke City U23s in the Premier League 2 Division 2.
“It was a game of two halves really,” he said. “In the first half we were really dominant, had a lot of chances, kept the ball in their half and didn’t really let them play so it was a good start to the game, then they changed shape and caused us a few problems so our press wasn’t as effective, but there are a lot of positives to take into the rest of the season.
