Outbreaks of Covid positives at a number of clubs led to Brentford vs Manchester United on Tuesday, Burnley vs Watford on Wednesday and Leicester City vs Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday being postponed.

But seven matches still went ahead and there was plenty of significance in the results at both ends of the table.
