Norwich City forward Jordan Hugill was full of praise for his teammates after scoring both goals in Wednesday night’s 2-0 win at home to Bristol City.
“I’m delighted with getting on the scoresheet but I’ve said many times tonight that it wasn’t about me, it’s about the team getting three points to get away from the pack that’s chasing us,” he said. “We need to stay ahead of that so the three points were more important to me.
“I don’t judge myself on goals as much, so I’m just delighted for everybody here.”
As for the goals specifically, the first strike was Hugill’s bread and butter, while the second was all about being in the right place at the right time.
