Teemu Pukki’s brace was enough to secure a point for Finland in their 2-2 draw against Bosnia and Herzegovina on Wednesday evening.
Pukki made the starting lineup as he led Finland against Bosnia in the Huuhkajat’s World Cup qualifier. The striker featured for all 90 minutes in their 2-2 draw, scoring twice and registering five shots on target.
With that brace, the striker now moves to become Finland's joint-second all-time top scorer, level with Mikael Forsell. Pukki now sits three goals behind Jari Litmanen for the all-time record.
Tim Krul featured for the Netherlands in their first World Cup qualifier against Turkey, a game which the latter won 4-2.
