Dimitris Giannoulis played 90 minutes of Greece's 1-1 with Belgium on Thursday evening.
Greece, who missed out on EURO 2020 qualification, deployed Giannoulis in an advanced role against Roberto Martinez's side, with Liverpool's Kostas Tsimikas playing in Giannoulis' usual left-back role.
Belgium took the lead through Thorgan Hazard in the first-half before Georgios Tzavellas equalised after the interval to earn Greece a share of the spoils.
Greece face one more friendly on Sunday when they play Norway in Malaga, Spain (5pm UK).
Earlier in the day, Adam Idah came off the bench to help Republic of Ireland come from behind and beat Andorra 4-1, also in a friendly.
