Norwich City Under-18s coach Greg Crane felt that the side ‘lacked characters’ in their 5-0 defeat to Fulham on Saturday afternoon.
Fulham found the lead early in a quiet first half before scoring four in the second to secure all three points comfortably.
Speaking in his post-match interview, Crane said: “We just spoke to the lads after the game about the basics, doing the basics for the 90 minutes. I thought we did that okay in the first half, our defending, tackling, heading, running with your man, tracking.
“I felt we lacked that in the second half, then I felt we lacked some characters to step up when it gets tough.
