Grant Hanley: We showed loads of courage and bravery, but there is still lots room for improvement

Grant Hanley says that small mistakes costs Norwich City in the home defeat to Liverpool, but there were still positives to take from the match.

The Canaries lost 3-0, with Diogo Jota, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah scoring for the visitors. However, for large spells it was an even match and it was just a few mistakes that were ruthlessly punished by Jürgen Klopp’s team.

“I thought we started the game well,” said Grant. “We definitely showed loads of courage and loads of bravery and loads of intent. We put our personality on the pitch and we played our game, but we are playing at the top level and if you make mistakes then you will get punished more often than not.
