Factfile: Getting to know Milot Rashica

Milot Rashica became Norwich City’s first signing of the 2021-22 summer transfer window when he completed a move from Werder Bremen on Tuesday.

The Kosovan forward can play as an attacking midfielder or winger and began his career at Vushtrria in 2010.

After spending three years with the youth teams, Rashica broke through to the senior side, making his professional debut at the age of 16.

21 appearances and nine goals later, Dutch side Vitesse came calling, initially looking to recruit Rashica for their first-team.

As well as featuring frequently for Vitesse in the Eredivisie, Rashica took part in 2017’s KNVB Beker final, in which Vitesse beat AZ Alkmaar 2-0 for the first major trophy in their then-125 year history.
