David Oldfield to take charge of training as QPR search for new boss

Queens Park Rangers have announced assistant manager David Oldfield will be overseeing first-team training until the club names Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink's replacement.

Hasselbaink was sacked as Rangers boss on Saturday following a 1-1 draw at Nottingham Forest's City Ground.

The west London outfit lie in 17th place in the Championship table, six points off the play-off places and equally six points off the relegation places.
