Daniel Farke has insisted that he was 'quite long term' at Norwich in the cut-throat business of football, as he speaks out for the first time since his dismissal as Canaries boss.
Following his sacking after Norwich's 2-1 win over Brentford on Saturday – their first win of the Premier League season – Farke issued a statement via the League Managers Association (LMA) on Tuesday where he reflected on his four and a half years at the club before thanking the fans for their support.
Farke took charge of 208 matches as Norwich boss but with just one win from their first 11 games, the Norfolk club decided it was time to act and relieved him of his duties shortly after their win over the Bees.
