Norwich City’s Under-23s fought back to claim a 2-2 draw in the Premier League International Cup after two second-half goals from VfL Wolfsburg.
City defended well in the first half to deny the visitors an opening goal, with Nelson Oliveira putting Norwich ahead in the 34th minute, slotting home Matt Jarvis’ deflected strike.
However, Wolfsburg came out fighting after the break with Blaz Kramer bringing them level after good spells of pressure followed by a second from captain Daniel Hanslik. Anthony Spyrou got the equaliser with less than 10 minutes to go and despite several good chances for Simon Power, City were unable to find the back of the net again.
