Huddersfield moved five points clear at the top of the Championship with a narrow win over fellow promotion contenders Wolves. The league leaders took the lead inside the opening five minutes, Rajiv van La Parra netting against his former club, converting the rebound from Kasey Palmer’s shot. Joe Mason had the ball in the back of the net on the brink of half-time, but saw his strike disallowed, and Wolves dominated the second half as they looked to get back into the game. However, Huddersfield held on to the win to extend their lead at the top of the table.
