Brighton, Fulham and Norwich City have made enquiries about Aalesund winger Edwin Gyasi.
The Dutch-born Ghana international has already been discussed by Sunderland, Middlesbrough and Sheffield Wednesday.
Sunderland wanted to bring the 26-year-old winger in on loan but Aalesund would prefer a permanent deal.
Their asking price has alerted others with the Norwegian club willing to accept £600,000 up front with further add-ons taking the deal to just over £1million.
Gyasi is quick and can play as a second striker.
