With a 6-1 win over Penn State and a tight 4-2 win over Ohio State, Northwestern Women’s Tennis has clinched a Big Ten regular season title for the first time since 2012. It’s the first conference title of any variety for the team since 2014, and only one remaining team member, Maddie Lipp (medical redshirt year) was a part of that squad. The Wildcats also capped off their first unbeaten record in conference play since 2009, despite undergoing the longest conference schedule (12 games) that they have ever faced. As they head to the postseason, Northwestern has won 16 of 17, and they are currently ranked #12 in the country, though new rankings come out every Tuesday.
