Rising junior linebacker Paddy Fisher was named to ESPN college football insider Phil Steele’s Preseason First Team All-American roster. Fisher was the only Wildcat to crack Steele’s Preseason First Team this year.
Although preseason honors can only mean so much, it’s certainly a notable recognition for a proven collegiate linebacker like Fisher who has also been projected as a first round pick by some analysts in way-too-early 2020 NFL Mock Drafts.
It’s also important to note that Steele appears to be an analyst that has been aboard the Paddy Fisher train for a while now, so this recognition shouldn’t come as too big of a surprise.
