Northwestern to wear black helmet, purple jersey, black pants against Nebraska

Northwestern will don its traditional home purple jersey Saturday against Nebraska, paired with a black helmet with the block “N” and black pants. The program announced the uniforms in a tweet Thursday afternoon.

NU last wore this uniform combo against Duke in 2016. The Wildcats topped the Blue Devils 24-13 at Ryan Field.
