Northwestern's road win at Duke plus a Stanford upset at USC puts the Cats inside the top 20
The Week 4 Amway Coaches Poll was released mid-day Sunday, and Northwestern has jumped from #24 last week in the poll to #19 this week after defeating Duke 19-10 in Durham yesterday. It is tied for the second-biggest jump in the poll with LSU. Ole Miss, who jumped six spots to #9 after beating Alabama, had the biggest jump. Also helping Northwestern's jump was Stanford's impressive win at Southern California last night. Stanford, who jumped to #24 in this week's poll after being unranked last week, lost to Northwestern in Week 1, 16-6.
