Northwestern ranked No. 25 in latest College Football Playoff Rankings

For the first time since the 2015 season, Northwestern is in the College Football Playoff rankings.

After getting just six votes in the latest AP Poll, Northwestern’s entrance into the CFP rankings comes as a significant surprise. An overtime win over Nebraska was enough to propel the Wildcats into the Top 25 over Big Ten rival Michigan (7-2) and South Florida (8-1), among others.
