Everything appeared set for success and a chance to compete in the new Big Ten West division before the 2014 season started. Then transfers and injuries struck the Northwestern offense, and a once promising side of the football turned in to a virtual nightmare.
The slate is nearly clean in 2015 though, with a new quarterback coming in to replace two-year starter Trevor Siemian and plenty of new faces all over the offense.
Does that mean great things ahead or a third year of struggles for an offense that appears to have a bit of an identity crisis.
