After getting an impressive season out of Jake Collins in 2018, Pat Fitzgerald and Jeff Genyk had a hole to fill at punter this offseason. According to the roster handed out at Northwestern’s media day, the late addition of another graduate transfer in Andrew David appears to have potentially solved that problem.
In April, Louie Vaccher of WildcatReport initially reported that David was on the Wildcats’ radar. The former three-star recruit began his career with Michigan, before transferring to TCU, where he spent his final three years. According to Vaccher, for David’s final year of eligibility he was considering both Northwestern and Notre Dame.
