Northwestern has slipped seven spots to No. 20 in the Week 7 AP Poll after getting blown out by Michigan, 38-0, on Saturday.
The Wildcats had risen to No. 13 in the AP Poll after Week 5, their highest ranking since 2000. They could have been primed to leap into the top 10 with a win at Michigan.
Instead, it's the Wolverines who have made a big leap after their dominant win. Jim Harbaugh's team jumped six spots to No. 12.
One of the teams moving ahead of Northwestern was Iowa, Northwestern's Week 7 opponent.
