The Minnesota Golden Gophers were shut out for the first time 2011 and held to just 173 yards in their 27-0 loss on Saturday to the Northwestern Wildcats.
The Wildcats had lots of joy and enthusiam on their sidelines which led head coach Jerry Kill to conclude that they just wanted it more:
"Northwestern wanted it more than we did; that bothers me," Gophers coach Jerry Kill said. "You could tell that by (the) sideline."
Starting quarterback Mitch Leidner didn't fully agree with his coach but does admit that Northwestern had "the juice":
"They definitely brought the juice and played hard all game long," Leidner said.
