A Wildcat on each side of the ball was recognized by the Big Ten Tuesday with weekly honors after a 1-1 week for the Northwestern women's lacrosse team.
The conference recognized senior Kaleigh Craig for her big week, which culminated with a career-high six goals in Sunday's dominant victory over Rutgers. The senior won the Co-Offensive Player of the Week award. She also added 3 goals in Friday's loss to the undefeated USC Trojans.
Lauren Murray, a senior defender, was also recognized as Defensive Player of the Week, for anchoring Northwestern's defense against USC and Rutgers, securing 5 ground balls and forcing 3 turnovers.
