Wilimovsky qualified for the 10km open water race at Rio with a victory at World Championships last year. He will now have two chances to bring home glory for the United States. At tonight's qualifying race in Omaha, Wilimovsky finished two seconds behind winner Connor Jaeger, but made the team by a full 17 seconds.
