Coming off its best win of the season against Indiana, Northwestern heads to Madison for a contest with Wisconsin. The Badgers, the No. 10 team in the country by KenPom and the No. 30 team in the country in the AP and Coaches polls, present a major defensive challenge to the Wildcats, but also a prime chance to elevate NU’s postseason resume.
Northwestern will have to deal with Ethan Happ inside and contain an array of Badger shooters on the wing, but NU has done it before in Madison. The Badgers usually slow the game down, take care of the ball and defend the three-point line well, so this will likely be a game decided by half-court execution.
