Coming off a buzzer-beater loss to Iowa, Northwestern (12-11, 3-9 Big Ten) enters Wednesday’s home matchup with Rutgers having lost four straight.

The Wildcats beat Rutgers (11-12, 4-9) 65-57 back on January 18th, but the Scarlet Knights were without leading scorer Eugene Omoruyi in that one.

This is probably the easiest remaining game on Northwestern’s schedule, so it serves as an important matchup for a reeling Wildcats team.
