Both Northwestern and Ohio State enter Wednesday’s matchup in Columbus looking to get back to winning ways amid losing streaks.
For the visiting Wildcats (12-13, 3-11 Big Ten), a win would snap a six-game winning streak that has been a slog offensively. It’s been nearly a month since Northwestern won a game, and the team appears headed toward its worst conference record of the Chris Collins era.
On the other side, the Buckeyes (16-9, 6-8) have dropped two straight, and have leveled to a mediocre level after a five-game conference skid to start the calendar year.
These two teams last played in Columbus in January 2017, with the Wildcats prevailing, 74-72.
