Don’t look now, but Big Ten media days are back, signifying an annual kickoff of sorts for the football season. Big Ten coaches and players will gather in Chicago to discuss offseason storylines and give the media a chance to ask some questions after a dead period in the beginning of the summer. Northwestern will appear on the first day, bringing Pat Fitzgerald, Clayton Thorson, Montre Hartage and Nate Hall downtown for the festivities.
Media days usually don’t bring too much actual news, but they provide a forum to ask about injuries, position battles and general questions with fall camps on the horizon.
