After Penn State cut Northwestern's lead to 13-7, reserve running back Solomon Vault ran back a squib kick for a 96-yard touchdown, giving the Wildcats a 20-7 lead. It is Vault's second return touchdown of the season, and third of his career, making the sophomore both the single-season and all-time leader in kick return touchdowns at Northwestern.
