EVANSTON — After spending the vast majority of spring practice and offseason workouts learning the tackle position, Geoff Mogus appears to be set for a definitive position switch that will have a trickle-down effect on the rest of the line.
Mogus, an offensive guard since his sophomore year of high school, has been taking nearly every rep at left tackle so far in fall camp, and based on his offseason work, it appears that that's where Northwestern is planning to use him in the fall.
Mogus's move to tackle has opened up the left guard spot, which, according to Mogus, at the moment is in the hands of Ian Park.
