One of Pat Fitzgerald’s former players is going pro — in romance.
Seriously.
The 31 male contestants for ABC’s 13th edition of The Bachelorette have been announced, and Anthony Battle — a former defensive lineman for the Wildcats — is on the list.
Battle, who is now an education software manager in the Chicago area, played at Northwestern from 2009-2012, appearing in seven total games and recording one tackle.
This season’s Bachelorette will be former Bachelor contestant Rachel Lindsay, the show’s first African-American lead.
