With the NFL season set to kick off tomorrow night when the Pride of Northwestern leads the Denver Broncos against the Carolina Panthers, teams are starting to release their Week 1 depth charts. In somewhat surprising news, 2016 4th round pick Dean Lowry will start at defensive end over 2016 1st round pick Kenny Clark for the Green Bay Packers against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Lowry was one of two Wildcats drafted this May in Chicago. The other, Dan Vitale, was selected in the 6th round by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers but was recently waived. The Buffalo Bills claimed him, but promptly released him after he failed a physical.
