Class of 2017 safety Bryce Jackson commits to Northwestern over Wake, Nevada, Navy

Northwestern has landed another safety for its Class of 2017 recruiting class, adding safety Bryce Jackson out of Denton, TX (Guyer HS). Jackson tweeted out his commitment on Wednesday afternoon.

Jackson is unranked by 247 Sports' traditional metrics and does not have a composite score or star rating, although he is considered a three-star recruit with an 80 overall rating according to the more simplified rankings. He's rated as the 80th-best safety nationwide and 184th-best player in Texas in the class of 2017.

Jackson boasted offers from Nevada and Wake Forest according to 247, and he tweeted out on March 31 that he had received an offer from Navy.
